Protect organisational hardware, software, and networks from cybercriminals.

Where you'll work

For specialist cybersecurity firms, or in-house within private companies, government departments, or charities. You’ll usually work in offices but can also work from home or anywhere there is an internet connection. Proper name is ‘cyber security analyst’.

Salary range

£20,000 – £100,000+

Skills you'll need

Good at maths and science, especially computer science
Good investigation skills and able to think outside the box
