Medical Engineer

What you'll do

Design and build new medical devices and products to help diagnose illnesses and treat people’s health problems or disabilities. Install and check medical equipment to make sure it is working properly and is safe to use.

Where you'll work

Hospitals, laboratories, medical schools, health clinics, universities, government agencies, medical instrument manufacturers.

Salary range

£21,000 – £75,000+
