What you'll do

Study the ocean! This could include the movement of waves, the plant and animal life, the chemical make-up of seawater, or the shape and changes of the sea floor.

Where you'll work

In the sea. On ships. In a laboratory. In an office. You might work for a university, an environmental organisation, a government agency or a private company.
