Fly military fighter plane sand engage in combat with other aircraft and targets on the ground belonging to your opponents. If you haven’t already seen it, watch Top Gun!

On air force bases, in aircraft, in simulators, on aircraft carriers.

Salary range

£42,000 – £100,000

Skills you'll need

Outstanding grades in all your subjects, especially maths and physics
Must be extremely fit and possess excellent physical and mental health
Faultless eyesight
Natural leadership and teamworking abilities
