Architect

What you'll do

Design new buildings; redevelop old ones. Work with clients (owners or managers of the land or building) to bring their creative ideas to life. Assess the impact of design proposals on the surrounding area. Work with builders, carpenters and other tradespeople to see that your designs are followed and that buildings are properly constructed. Control a building project from start to finish.

Where you'll work

In offices (or remotely from home), on-site at building sites.

Salary range

£20,000 – £198,000
